President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended a ceremony held to mark the 55th anniversary of the establishment of the Constitutional Court.
Speaking at a Holy Birth Week event, President Erdoğan drew attention to the silence of the Islamic world in the face of tragedies faced by Muslims across the world, and said: “The sufferings endured in Afghanistan in the wake of the occupation were inflicted as a result of Muslims’ cruelty to one another. Afghanistan is still paying the price today. The cause of the ongoing tragedy in Syria is Muslims’ cruelty to one another. And Iraq has come to the brink of disintegration because of Muslims’ cruelty to one another. Yemen is no different.”
