Receiving Syrian women living in Ankara at the Presidential Complex, First Lady Emine Erdoğan said: “We wish to save the children that come into the world in our country from being a lost generation and provide them with the basic education. They shouldn’t be deprived of university education. Turkey’s Council of Higher Education has opened up new quotas at our universities for the Syrian youngsters. A wide range of social services from education to healthcare are offered at the state camps in Turkey.”
First Lady Emine Erdoğan, who is accompanying President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during his official visit to Bahrain, paid a visit to Abdulla Bin Yousif Fakhro Community Centre in Bahrain’s capital city of Manama.
Speaking at the ‘A Multidisciplinary Look into Mode of Delivery Preference’ workshop, First Lady Emine Erdoğan pointed out that cesarean section rate is about %20 and %15 in France and the Netherlands respectively, and said: “So as to raise normal delivery rate in our country to these levels, we should examine birth philosophies, physician approaches and patient awareness in these countries.”
